And another unrelated rumor:
"Nikon is working on new battery grip for the next DSLR camera (possibly D800). It will have GPS module build inside, small LCD screen and some outputs. "
Could instead of a Nikon D400 D300s a first come out? This suggested at least Nikonrumors. Similar went Nikon D70 and D70s in front of it. ... More
Nikonrumors.com berichetet about the Nikon D300 from Nikon is no longer available. This at least tells the American BestBuy Shop:
"Checked the inventory system at work. It is a "deleted item" now. For what it's worth, the D200 is as well. Does not mean we will stop selling it, just stop buying it from Nikon, that's all Typically, stores that still have them, like mine, will not get anymore. The ones that Best Buy has already purchased long ago and receiving will still just be shipped to stores that sell higher grade cameras. My store focuses primarily on D40 - D90 because we are in a much smaller market. "

Currently there are no confirmed pictures and can also be the work of some pranksters. I myself can not find the instructions on pages or confirm.
Already a few days ago I reported on a book to be released in July 2009 on the D400. The same book is now on the website of the publisher (unfortunately been removed) appeared. As a release date is the 29th July 2009 referred.
Meanwhile, are nikonrumors.com still unconfirmed rumors surfaced a few:
Here are some more related rumors I received, all unconfirmed:
- Got a report form a small reputable dealer - D400 should come with 1080p video, more pixels, and better noise. It does not say much, but the point was that it should "really replace" the D300.
- Someone (anonymously) sent me some good D400 lottery numbers: 15, 6, 12800, 51, and 1080th I do not know, it could be a joke.
Perhaps the Nikon D400 is the AF-S 35 f/1.8 presented. Surprised me that would not.
A further indication of an upcoming Nikon D400 has appeared on amazon.de (enter as a search term Nikon D400). There is already a book on the D400 for pre-order. The book will appear in July 2009 in the publishing market and technology.
Finally shows a picture of the new Nikon D400! The new body has been limited to only the most necessary to save as much weight! But see for yourself
On nikonrumors.com Nikon are some pictures surfaced of an unknown camera. The body looks similar to the D300. However, some minor details compared to the D300 are different. But as the camera title is covered with adhesive tape, can not be said exactly what camera it is.
Come to the 2009 PMA had a new Sony DSLR? According photofan.jp possibility is indeed the new model with a 15.2MP CMOS sensor.
Sony A800:
- 15.2Mpx APS-C CMOS Exmor "R" sensor
- ISO 100-12800
- 6.5 frame per second
- New high-speed flash sync
- 9 double cross f/2.8 AF sensor (23 total AF sensor)
- New metering and AF sensor with tracking and previous focus
- Dual AF ultra-speed motor (?)
- Wi-Fi built-in
- Will be announced on launch on April PMA09 and with three new DT lenses ...
As Sony and Nikon have worked together in the past with sensor design and construction, could be the sensor of a possible Alpha 800 also appear in a Nikon D400.
